Key Issue Highlights:
Alias 1 is one of the most important modern Marvel keys in existence — the first appearance of Jessica Jones, the hard-boiled private investigator and former superhero who would go on to headline the hit Netflix series. Written by Brian Michael Bendis with atmospheric art by Michael Gaydos and an iconic painted cover by David Mack, this issue also marks the debut of the Marvel MAX imprint, making it a landmark in both character and publishing history. Luke Cage also appears, as noted on the CGC label. A 9.8 White Pages copy is as high as it gets for this in-demand key. The back cover features a Namco “Tales of Destiny II” PlayStation ad — a perfect 2001 time capsule.
